The Greek word “agona” is used for a great struggle, often referencing an athletic event (marathon, wrestling match, etc…).
It is no coincidence that our word “agony” stems from this word.
The race of faith requires struggle. It requires gathering of people. It requires us to battle against other perceived priorities in our lives.
Faith requires endurance, even in times of struggle. However, the victory is such a sweet reward 💕
Run the race with endurance, and fix your eyes on the finish line (Jesus)!
