I consider it a good day when I can stay in my pajamas all day! And yet, I’ve been WORKING all day….
My life is so much different since I have started my own business as an online health and fitness coach.
Just in the past week, I’ve….
–> worked all day from home (and got a LOT of @s*!+ done), all while staying in my pajamas
–> stayed home with my sick kiddo without having to ask “permission”
–> volunteered for my church during the middle of the week
–> eaten perfect clean (between Thanksgiving and Christmas, the most weight-gain time during the year), and lost weight by eating healthy, whole foods
–> drank half my body weight in ounces of water to hydrate for my health
–> spent guilt-free money (thank you paycheck) on an outing with friends to make creative signs for a fun night out
–> took a midday walk with my oldest son to the local coffee stand
–> observed sabbath…….in the middle of the “workweek”
–> read a hilarious personal development book that teaches how to overcome rejection in your life
–> met with amazing women from all over the country to talk about goals, and how to help people reach their own goals
–> shared successes and struggles with health with a good friend who I met with through this opportunity
–> got my sweat on with colleagues at a Zumba class, and laughed the whole time
–> gave advice to a friend struggling with their energy and body image
–> encouraged a colleague to build routine in her life to help work through depression
–> gave business and life advice to someone who is looking to feel better in their body, and make extra money by helping others do the same
–> shared an awesome podcast, focused on how to stop being “used” by others
All of this….ALL of it…..would never have happened if I worked a traditional job that traded hours for dollars.
+ Love what you do, and be fulfilled by working for a purpose. 🙋
+ Control your own schedule. 🙋
+ Choose your own co-workers. 🙋
+ Work from wherever you want (wearing whatever you want). 🙋
