Just an update about Jenni, for those of you following…
She’s on her way in. She has a good anesthetist and her Neurosurgeon is great. She’s in good spirits. The Doc is planning about 6 hours, but will know more after he gets in. Everything is going really well.
She has 12 1-inch square patches of shaved head to hold electrodes that map her brain. The surgeon will be removing a section of skull over the tumor. I’ll list other details after I know them all.
In a bit of humor, a different anesthetist came into the room, looked at her and said, “Oops, you’re not my patient. Oh well, I’d rather have you. You’re thin. My patient’s kinda big. But then you have all those things on your head. That can’t be fun.”
It brought us much humor and she had a good laugh.
Thank you to everyone supporting her. We feel very blessed and extraordinarily appreciative.
