I have a PRIVATE Facebook group where I share motivation, inspiration, recipes, and health (mental and physical), fitness, and nutrition information in. It is called the The Locker Room (a place to get motivation, pep talks, accountability, and support), and it is for both men and women. If you are not in this group, but would like to be, please send me a message, and I’ll put you in.
Below is an example of something I might share in that group…..

Sometimes we THINK we’re making healthy choices, when in fact we’re not. I’m not a huge calorie-counter, but I DO read labels to make sure I know what I’m eating.
I look for things like:
🔹How much added sugar is in the food, and what type of sugars they are (I personally prefer cane sugar, honey, agave, and sugar from beets, bananas, and dates).
🔹How much fat the food contains (and which type of fats).
🔹How close sugar (or other derivatives of sugar) are to the top of the list of ingredients.
🔹How many highly-processed food are in the ingredient lists, compared to ingredients I can pronounce.
🔹Simply the number of ingredients that are listed (I like fewer ingredients in foods I buy).
🔹What type of grains are used (whole grains or processed grains).
🔹How much sodium is contained in the food (lower is better).
Foods can often seem like they are healthy, but at a closer look, they might not be. Click the link below to explore some foods that masquerade as healthy foods, but really aren’t.
