I’ve been running a virtual book club (Girl Wash Your Face, by Rachel Hollis) with some absolutely amazing women! One of the themes we’ve been finding amongst our group is a lack of dreaming big, setting goals, and visualization of the lives we want to live.
God had perfect timing, and it_s highly possible that by not being where you thought you should be, you will end up exactly where you are meant to go. (4)
We all have dreams when we are little. High school and college is full of big plans of what we will do when we “grow up”……and then the growing up happens, and our dreams disappear along with our adolescence.
Why is that?
Do we feel we’re not worth it anymore? Do we feel overwhelmed by work, family, kids, and all our other responsibilities? Do our dreams instead change to focus on our children? Do we feel like building dreams is silly, now that’s we’re older? Do we realize that settling is easier? Do we just give up?
Whatever the reason – it is JUST PLAIN WRONG!
We all deserve to live the life we desire! We all deserve leave our mark on the world, hoping to make it a better place. And (in my opinion) God deserves us to give Him our very best, and live the life he is calling us to live.
We heard that call when we were younger; are we just hard of “hearing” now that we’ve gotten older?
God deserves the best of you. Life deserves the best of you.
YOU deserve the best of you.
“Don’t sit this one out!”
