Day 14

To make up for a fun family day yesterday, today was a huge work day. To top it off, I had a mild headache for most of the day, that turned into a full-blown nightmare by the end of the night. I worked up at the college for most of the day, getting a bunch of work done. When I got home, I was feeling alright, but ended up going to talk to Cory in the shed (he was cleaning it). It was around 500 degrees in there, and the heat exacerbated my headache tremendously, and I became horribly nauseated. I made it through dinner, which was delicious. The family all loved the dinner too (even the steamed kale)! However, then I had to go play softball. I had been excited to play earlier in the day, but was feeling horrible all throughout the game. The only good thing was that I only had to hit, and I could use a designated runner. We had enough people that I didn’t need to play in the field. I managed all the way though, without vomiting, and crashed in bed as soon as we got home – thankful that the day was over.

(Sorry for not much of a check-in today)
