From Cory (husband):
First off, thank you all for your support. We have some pretty cool friends. And frankly, this is what life’s all about. The political climate the way it is, and all the bad happening, to see all of you showing love and all the messages we’ve been getting is truly special.
She’s made it out of recovery and into the ICU. She’s pretty much unconscious (though not in a bad way). She’s in a cocktail of drugs for pain, nausea, sedation, BP, infection, etc… So it’s knocked her out pretty good. I did have a brief time with her while she was lucid. She’s completely aware of her surroundings and all of her muscle tone is working correctly. All in all, she recovered completely. She’ll be watched closely throughout the night. Tomorrow she’ll have an MRI to look over things, make sure it’s all out, see if there’s any fluid build up, etc. if that goes well, she should be transferred out of ICU and to a ward for a few days.
Thanks again for all the kindness you’ve shown for Jenni and our family.
